The next generation of AI-boosted engines with the power of LLMs
The best of two worlds
We are thrilled to announce the release of Globalese V5, an upgraded version of our popular machine translation platform with the introduction of AI boosted engines. This latest development combines the best of both worlds, leveraging the terminology and style accuracy of the Globalese Domain Adapted engines along with the powerful linguistic capabilities of Large Language Models (LLMs).
So, what exactly is an AI boosted engine? Our team has combined the automated domain adaptation feature of Globalese, with intelligent prompting of Large Language Models like GPT (Generative Pre-trained Transformer) from OpenAI. This unique combination results in engines that offer enhanced linguistic capability while maintaining the terminology and style accuracy of the domain-adapted engines.
We are continuously working to enhance the capabilities of Globalese V5, and have exciting features lined up on our roadmap.
Implemented features
One remarkable feature is dynamic terminology support, which enables users to update and manage terminologies in real-time, ensuring consistent and accurate translations.
The newest feature allows for the use of custom prompts in engines, enhancing the translation experience. Users now have the flexibility to create personalized prompts to suit their individual needs. For instance, users can request a particular tone of voice (formal or informal) or a specific spelling, such as American English. This enables more precise and contextually appropriate translations, leading to a higher quality output.
On the roadmap
The next item on our roadmap is the implementation of context-aware translation. We will be moving away from the traditional, segment-based approach and instead focus on translating at a broader contextual level within the document. This will allow us to utilize valuable contextual information to enhance the quality of our translations.
